CAPTURE 3D to be known as ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions as Brand Migration Completes
Today marks the successful migration of the CAPTURE 3D brand following its 2021 acquisition by ZEISS. The completion of the brand migration also signifies the retirement of the CAPTURE 3D company name.
Through the acquisition of CAPTURE 3D, ZEISS has further expanded its national coverage in the U.S. for its Industrial Quality & Research segment by growing its network of experts and facilities to meet evolving customer needs. With the addition of CAPTURE 3D’s high-tech 3D scanning technologies and its community of innovators, ZEISS continues to strengthen its leading technological position within the industry to support customers in realizing their ambitions in decarbonization and digitalization and laying the foundation for shaping and entering new markets.
CAPTURE 3D was founded in 1997 to be the exclusive U.S. distributor of Carl Zeiss GOM Metrology technology. Throughout the next 24 years leading up to its acquisition, the company grew to nearly 100 employees in five locations across the country, supporting thousands of customers in diverse industries with cutting-edge 3D scanning technologies that deliver transformative digital engineering capabilities. As the brand migration phase completes, the former CAPTURE 3D will now be known as ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions.
