Hexagon introduces ENSPEC to provide tailored metrology solutions

Hexagon, a pioneer in digital reality solutions globally, has introduced ENSPEC, its first metrology product developed in India. The multidimensional coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is made to fulfil the unique needs of Indian manufacturers, giving them the tools they need to create a sustainable, self-sufficient future. Industrial metrology equipment, such as hand tools, automated solutions, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), portable measuring arms, laser trackers, and optical scanners, have been offered to Indian clients by Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence business for many years.

The ENSPEC series is manufactured at the company’s Hexagon plant in Noida, India where final assembly and local distribution take place. Hexagon India President Pramod Kaushik stated that the ENSPEC series is a perfect representation of Hexagon’s support of the Made in India programme backed by the Indian government.

The manufacturing industry chooses ENSPEC coordinate measuring devices for inspection, quality control, and automation due to their superior performance and variety of options. Hexagon would be able to better service its clients and quickly satisfy their demands thanks to manufacturing in India. India may emerge as the next major location for global manufacturing due to the significant disruption in the global supply chain.

Hexagon’s metrology solutions help engineers close the gap between design intent and real-world operation with actionable, real-time insight that revolutionises upstream and downstream decision-making. The ENSPEC series of three-dimensional coordinate measuring machines meets measurement accuracy for multiple industries and features touch trigger probes or scanning sensors.
