Within the ISO 14405-1 are options which will be applied to circular features. These will be indicated on the print.

GG - Least Square Algorithm (LSQ) Feature

GG - Least Squares Feature

Points are taken on a diameter. The diameter is based on the average of the points taken.

GC - Minimum Feature

GC - Minimum Feature

A diameter is constructed equal to the diameter of the smallest and the largest diameter. Notice the center of the diameter could be shifted to the nominal center.

GN - Minimum Circumscribed Element

GX - Minimum Circumscribed Element

For an outer diameter this will be the largest ring that will fit within the measure diameter.

GX - Maximum Inscribed Element

GX - Maximum Inscribed Element

For an inner diameter this will be the largest pin that will fit within the measure diameter.

LP - 2 Point Distance

LP - 2 Point Distance

LP allows the programmer to create a 2-point distance on a feature. Parameters must be set to select which 2 points that are to be used.
