Project description. The client required a Calypso CMM program for this part.

An issue arose when the part did not fit on the CMM. The Z height was too large. However, if the part was tipped 18 degrees it would fit. Stylus tip were created to exceed above the +Z clearance plane to allow probing above the machine end stop position. The program was written and simulated off-line. The client was provided full stylus build sheets and a video of CMM simulation.
